The hairspray is just weighing your hair down. Try using a volumizing shampoo and conditioner and putting mouse in your hair while it is still a bit damp. Only spray a little bit of hairspray (make sure you use the directions on the bottle). In the first picture the girl scrunched her hair. My hair refuses to scrunch and I think that yours will probably do the same but you can give it a try. Pantene sells scrunching spray. Oh and the curling stuff alexandr was talking about kind of works but if you play with your hair you get these little white pieces in it and it looks gross. You could try hot rollers but try them on a weekend to make sure that you like the look.

Yes!!! my hair is naturally CURLY!!!!! But instead of curling your hair right after you wash it don't wash it for like two days and then curl your hair because when you just wash it it is smooth and not able to function!!!! If this does not work than maybe you should use this stuff could curls rock by cat walk and wah it and brush it out then while its wet apply the curls rock stuff and creankle it!!!! GOOG LUCK!!!!!

well the first picture is "scrunched".

wet hair, put gel in hands and scrunch your hair

Haydens hair is curled with a big round curling iron.

maybe 3 or 4 inches thick iron.

these curls will probably stay in better for your hair to

---------GOODLUCK------
