Hair Dye Problem - Please HELP!!?

I have very dark brown hair and do not dye my hair at all but the ends always seem to be very reddish brown. I think it's because the ends are older and may gave caught the sun. A few months ago, I used L'oreal Recital Paris dye on my hair which gave me an all over beautiful dark brown color. The dye was supposed to be permanent and looked really good. BUT�? months on and the tips of my hair are red again..I haven't been anywhere near the sun and have been using a good organic SLS free shampoo! Why? How can I stop this from happening? I don't want to keep colouring my hair..

You should get a regular trim every 2-3weeks, not only will it cut of the redish ends it make make our hair stronger and healthier. . .do you straighten your hair alot because excessive use of starightners will cause damage to the ends of your hair, it give you splits ends and in some cases strips the colour from parts of the hair!!!

Get a regular trim. Chances are your tips are brittle and dry, and possibly split a little. Regular trims keep your hair neat and tidy and will take care of your reddish ends.

2 months is a reasonable time to redye your hair...most professionals say you should color it every 6 weeks

Is your hair long, how often do you have you hair trimmed the need sound like the ends are dry and probably split you need to have them trimmed off. You can buy hair serum and just put a bit in the ends and that will help to keep hair in good condition just apply a little more on the ends.

You should have you hair trimmed regularly this will improve the condition.

It's usually the hair at the end of the shaft that is the deadest because it's been there the longest. It's drier and as mentioned above, probably split. Due to this, it also is the least capa that endsble of accepting and maintaining color. I would start with taking off about an inch just to get rid of this old hair. This leaves you with healthier looking hair thatwont fade so bad. Good luck
