Okay, 10 points for you for not using those horrible hot tools! Here are a few tips:

1. Shampoo, condition and use a leave-in cream designed for straight looks. Comb with a wide-toothed comb and allow it to dry without moving it too much. Once completely dry, you can brush out your hair and apply a little bit of serum on the ends.

2. Use a shower cap when you shower to protect your hair from moisture.

3. Use a silk bandana and wrap it around your loosely tied hair before going to bed. This will prevent frizz and poofiness from the direct rubbing of your hair on your pillow.

you need to wear a shower cab before you go to bed

so next day , your hair is not going in a diffrent direction .

It depends on the foods you eat, healtier the better. Depends on genetics mostly, but theres so many hair care products you can beat genetics anyday.

Im asian and i have puffy frizzy hair as a kid, as i grew older i invested in salon hair care products, flat iron, and an oil based hair product (i suggest biosilk). It made a big difference in my hair.. My hair was healthy, shiny, silky and smooth. Put on some biosilk when your hair is damp, flat iron really fast, add a lil more biosilk, and before you fall asleep tie your hair up in a loose low pony tail, and youll wake up perfect.

Also invest in a deep condionter, paul mittchel, and redken are my favorite salon shampoo..

Try to have your bangs cut blunt not layered and use a few small hair clips on your bangs to weigh them down during the night. Children's small berets work great with a spritz of hairspray on them at night before bed to keep the berets from sliding out and hair fly aways.

stick straight hair? the only way, get a straight perm. (Re-bond hair) That's the only way. Natural hair will not be stick straight. But rebonded hair is hard to care for. Cannot tie, cannot pin (will leave marks). thus, be happy with what you have. The most every morning just wash your hair before going out. Blow dry, you'd have a nicely washed and fresh smelling hair everyday and of course, looking good too

if you don't want your hair to puff up the next morning

put it in way that you want your hair to be next morning when you go to bed

it really helps

For straightening hair at home, you can use a hair iron and a straightening shampoo will also help. If you wish to straighten for a longer time, you can undergo Japanese hair straightening. I found this website useful -

You can always just comb your hair at night. Take your showers at night so that you have wet hair. You comb it with a wide-toothed comb. You can also use shampoo that straightens.
