don't buy anything from a retail store or drugstore, for starters. these are just going to add to the problem. that goes for sunsilk, herbal essences, aussie, etc...throw them out if you have them. go to a salon and invest in quality prodcuts that are low in alcohol, and promise results or your money back. the best products for frizzy hair is the k-pak line by joico. k-pak is really meant for damaged hair, but frizzy hair needs to be tamed the same way that overprocessed hair does. try the k-pak shampoo and the intense hydrator conditioner. these will smooth out all frizz and make your hair super shiny, and even protect color if you dye your hair.

next to style, get the chi silk infusion oil and rub about a quarter, to half dollar sized drop in your hair and blow dry. invest in a good straightener, the best are chi and biosilk, both made by the same company, farouk, just the biosilk is $50 cheaper, but just as good.

but yeah, you can't tame it with out products, you can wash it every once in a while, that will smooth it out, only because you will have a bunch more oil in your hair. diet doesn't work either.

Well I would have recommended Biosilk for you but you don't want any of those comments.

So I'll just say that you should DEEP condition your hair once a week and rinse with Cold water. That should make your hair more managable.

Taking vitamins helps also.

After shampooing, condition it and when you rinse it out, use not so hot water, just a little warm and don't rinse it completely out.

Then when your hair isn't completely dry yet and is still damp, pin it in a bun or braid and twirl it around in a bun, keep it like that either overnight or for a few hours. When you let it loose, it will be frizz free! Avoid the hot oil and deep conditioning treatments - they tend to dry out my hair and strip its oils for some reason.

Well, I have frizzy thick hair too, or should I say I had, well here's what I ALWAYS do. After I take a shower, I blow dry and brush my hair at the same time so my hair is nice and straight and not so thick looking. So you blow dry and brush 'til it's completely dry. Then when you want to brush your hair you get hair spray (I use normal) and put it on the brush then brush your hair.

include egg yoke in your daily diet. Be mindful that egg yoke is high in cholestrol, so do not over eat. A kid can eat 7 a week but lesser as u grow older. Egg yoke helps in better texture in the hair growth.

Washing tips - try not to use hair dryer. Too much steaming is not good too, as it exposes your hair to heat.

Products - If u dont mind, try the avocado hair cream. Use it per instructions. My bro is using and is recommending my uncle to use it too.
