Before diving in make sure to thoroughly wet your hair down with regular water, and if you have a heavy-duty conditioner put that on before you go in as well. Your hair works like sponge, so if it fills with plain water first it won't absorb as much of the chlorinated water. Also make sure to wash your hair after you're done. As for your skin, take it from me, a cosmetologist, you want a hefty sunscreen if you're outside and reapply often. Have fun!!

Well,you shouLd bring extra clothes...don't forget those undies...kidding!but you should...because you never know if you get wet...and bring hair moisturizer so even if you get your hair wet it will still keep your hair fresh...and you never know if you find some cute guys...then bring lotion and of course a towel to dry you up...

The real answer here is to use vinegar as a rinse after you swim. I know you don't want to wear a swim cap, no one does unless they are speed swimmers! So, rinse with vinegar, it will strip out the chlorine. Then deep treat with an oil based treatment. As for your skin, the highest sunblock that is water proof. Don't forget your lips. Use sunblock lip treatment on them as well. Last but not least, your eyes. Wear sunglasses with UV protection.

Use conditioner , braid your hair or use a swimming cap and before you jump in make sure your hair is wet with regular water . You also can find shampoos and conditioners meant for swimmers to use too !
