how do u dye the tips of ur hair urself? i want to dye my tips black, but iv never done it b4. wud it look crappy if i did it myself?

i would go to a profesional. i have dyed my hair myself before and it was never a big deal until i decided to use black dye. i ruined my hair. the dye is realllly strong and if you mess it up it is really hard to get rid of. it takes a lot of bleach and color striping to get your hair close to the original color. basically, don't mess if you don't know what you are doing, especially with a dark dye.

i once saw this in a youtube video:

part the back of your hair down the middle (like if you were going to make two braids)

and put your hair in front of your shoulders

take two pieces of ribbon and tie one ribbon on each set of hair (hair on the right shoulder and hair on the left shoulder)

make sure the ribbons are at an equal level

and then simply dip the ends in the dye
