I have shoulder length hair, and my bangs are at an angle all the way down until you get to my longer hair. It's perfect for the angel wings look or the flipped out look. I don't have a problem with my hair staying in place, I just have a problem getting that professional flipped out look. No matter how hard I try, I can't use a normal curling iron. Right now, I've resorted to using a straightener to flip it out and I don't think it's good for my hair. Any tips or ideas?
How can I get that professional flipped out hair look?
You can buy irons with curved plates (it's still considered a flat iron, but it's specifically for flipping hair out and curling it under). I have two Remington irons, one is a Wet2Straight (a regular flat iron), the other is a Wet2Style which has the curved plates. Both are around $25 - I would say, in my experience, they rival CHI irons.
