so basicly , my mom wants me to cut her hair .. well trim it
like an inch off or something
her hair is pretty thick so i think i would have to wet it , then section it.. do i have to section it any particular way?
i have trimmed my bangs before but haven't cut anyones hair before
My mom has become frustrated because alot of the stylists shes gone to always cut it too short or not right and she knows that i know what length she wants it and she also knows im pretty good at doing my own hair
Can anyone give me any tips on cutting hair? Any bit of advice would help..
How to cut hair?
she should wash and condition her hair first this will make cutting easier. You need good shears, section off the hair in 4 sections make a part right down the middle of the head from front to back then across from ear to ear, clip up all hair. start in the back of the head drop down a small section about 1/4 inch and cut of your inch or however much she wants cut off then start dropping small sections of hair and use the first hair cut as your guide to cut the rest of the hair hold it straight down for a trim

How to cut hair?
if her hair is thick. I suggest putin in layers.
-tie all of her hair at the crown of her head...
-make sure its tied very neatly so u can get very even (not choppy) layers...
-get very fine scissors nd jus cut very neatly across...
-untie the rubberband nd let her hair loose...
-her hair shud hav great layers...
